The lack of a state level repository for farmers that can act as a source of truth for all farmers related information and enable relevant advisory and interventions.
A truth-finder algorithm has been activated on the database to continuously monitor and validate each data point, remove anomalies, and ensure optimal data quality throughout.
The database increases private ecosystem players , access to key farmer information like credit profile, land ownership, and farm operations, streamlining agri-service delivery throughout the state. It allows financial institutions to create stronger credit linkages, field officials to improve scheme dissemination, and village agricultural workers to deliver custom advisory, and a lot more.
A set of open API protocols built over the KO database, serving as a platform that connects farmers with private ecosystem players across the agri-value chain.

Information asymmetry that includes lack of awareness in farmers regarding extension services, credit facilities and market support and at the same time the lack of data access to service providers to reach individual farmers.
The KONNECT Stack contains a Unified Farmer Service Interface, which includes a set of Farmer Data and Transaction APIs. The APIs allow service providers to access farmer data from the KO database and integrate their services on the platform. These services are then made available on a Farmers’ Unified Portal and mobile application (KONNECT Stack's farmer-facing frontend), enabling farmers to access them over a single interface.
Stack improves interactions between farmers and agri ecosystem players including policymakers, field officers, and other agri-service providers. By allowing access to owner-consented, authentic farmer data from the KO database, the stack allows service providers to deliver personalised farm inputs, credit products, advisory and other services, as per individual farmer requirements.

Capacity of the agricultural advisory service is dependent on the number of people deployed, thus hampering farmers’ on-ground decision-making due to lack of timely information.
Farmers and extension workers can simply convey their queries to the chatbot via text or speech, in their vernacular language. The chatbot, trained with state and crop-specific information from top universities and agri-experts, then responds with highly relevant answers and on-time advisory. It provides farmers with personalised guidance to tackle crop infestations, deal with diseases, and manage their crops better for maximum harvest.
Farmers typically rely on front-line, government-assigned officials (VAWs) for agri-advisory and guidance. However, with only 1 extension worker available for every 2300 farmers, it becomes extremely challenging for farmers to avail timely support and expert advisory. The AKAI / KMAI bots solve this capacity challenge by simplifying, scaling, and increasing farmers', access to on-demand, personalised agri-advisory.

Lack of a one stop solution for farmers to access information regarding central agricultural schemes along with status updates and doubt clarifications.
Integrated with BHASHINI, Kisan e-Mitra allows farmers to speak or type in their queries in over 11 languages, which it interprets and answers with relevant information. The bot operates on a self-learning AI model, enabling accurate, updated, and personalised answers to farmer questions.
Offering relevant information and live scheme status updates, Kisan e-Mitra serves as a one-stop platform for all scheme-related concerns. It brings transparency to the beneficiaries, while helping officials increase the scheme’s efficiency and coverage.

The need for a single-window unified portal to make schemes and services more accessible to farmers while creating real-time visibility for the department on application processing.
GO-SUGAM displays all schemes and services over a single-window online portal & mobile application, allowing farmers to browse and apply for any scheme. Officials can verify and approve the submissions, pushing farmers to undertake the project and update their status on completion. After a final review of the work done, the officials then release the subsidy to the farmer via a direct benefit transfer.
Traditionally, farmers used to visit different government offices with extensive paperwork to apply for specific schemes. Apart from being time-consuming, the process was ineffective and impractical for most farmers. GO-SUGAM eliminated these concerns by digitising the entire application-to-subsidy process, making the schemes more accessible for farmers, as well as creating real-time visibility for the department with regards to scheme performance.

There is a need for a data-powered model to aid decision-making in state agricultural departments for policy formulation and program implementation, which in turn will better support farmers.
Powered by dynamic API integrations with multiple government, scheme, and agri-operation systems, DSS collects real-time authentic information on different agri-factors like crop insurance, weather, schemes, programs, and more. The platform then processes, visualises, and disseminates the data to agricultural departments, enabling timely emergency responses and relevant farmer support.
With smart data analytics, DSS is designed to create a culture of data-backed decision-making, enhancing the government’s capacity to develop inclusive policies, deliver comprehensive schemes, and improve agri-operations. It helps agri-officials better monitor and reform policies, ensure that the right schemes get delivered to the right farmers, and optimise their on-field service delivery and emergency response capabilities.
